Owner and Principal of DTID, Deanna Thiessen brings a fresh and studied approach to the design process. Filtering the client’s individual spirit and vision through her own creative process, she tailors each space to reflect a look and feel unique to them. Deanna balances the harsh with delicate, ordinary with luxe, and contemporary with vintage, to curate functional and artful environments that feed the senses…and the soul.

Deanna is a graduate of Mount Royal’s Bachelor of Applied Interior Design program in Calgary, Alberta, and has been practicing since 2008. Her Foothills-based studio spans both residential and commercial markets, including renovations, retail projects and custom home builds. The studio remains small, allowing intimate involvement with each project. Built on referrals, client service remains her number one priority.
